Update / Help Please!

$Anunturi_init->store();

populate and store methods for update operation works only when data have sented from post or get? i need when i go on this url http://localhost/anunt/?pagina=cont&action=mesaje&mesaj=2 to update automatically one field from table. can I? or i must use tipical query.
